If you like to eat sushi and/or sashimi you probably have an opinion about which are the best restaurants in the Greater Phoenix area where you can order it. If it's fresh sushi, properly prepared, it is probably a Japanese restaurant with a experienced sushi chef! Tell us where you like to go for sushi, what your favorite selections are at that restaurant, and how you rate the prices and atmosphere of the restaurant. Where Do You Go?

SushiEye is AMAZING!

I was new to sushi, so I wanted to walk gently as I tried it out. I play golf with Richard Cho, executive chef of SushiEye, on occasion so I thought what better place to try than his restaurant. Let me tell you the experience was amazing. Very cool, modern and clean inside. Awesome drink selection. My friend and I split an ASU Roll and a Booty Booty Roll. The prices are very reasonable, and Richard came out to the table to describe the options to us before we ordered. If you are in the Ahwatukee area and want amazing sushi (winner Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix award), check out Sushi Eye. Ask for Richard and tell him Chris Pace sent ya!

Eastern Super Buffet

Eastern Super Buffet in Apache Junction. All you can eat with a huge choice of different food types including sushi. Everyone who I have taken there have raved about the food, including someone who was studying to become a chef and is rather discriminating in what he considers acceptable. http://www.easternsuperbuffet.com/

Geisha a Go Go - Scottsdale

In addition to good food, this is just a fun place to go. When the weather is right, it opens up to the outdoor patio. They have a great happy hour (1/2 price) from 4 - 7 every single day! They even have a karaoke room you can reserve. If not everyone in your group loves sushi, they have plenty of other choices. I don't really remember a favorite....but everything we had was fresh and delicious. It's located in Old Town Scottsdale. I almost forgot the best part.......you have to experience the bathroom. That's all I'll say.

Best Place In N. Phx!

If you want a great sushi experience at a minimum cost, try Yen (on Bell Rd). Their happy hour starts after 8pm and they serve plenty of $5 specialty rolls. I've tried every Philedelphia roll in town and no one makes it as well (and as consistent) as Yen's wonderful chefs!
